Hi, I'm Aryane! I am a creative and organized professional with a background in interior design and business administration. I have experience working in both administrative and design environments, where I have supported operations, coordinated projects, and assisted with client-facing processes. I enjoy contributing to collaborative teams and helping create efficient systems while bringing creativity and attention to detail to my work.
Professional
Interior Design
I have worked as a Design Studio Coordinator for a home builder. In this position, I was tasked to provide new customer orientations and explaining the design process from start to finish. I was put in charge of appointment booking and maintaining sample inventory. I was also given the opportunity to select finishes for move in ready homes while also continuing to work with AutoCAD to improve my skills. This position has allowed me to gain hands-on experience with clients, coordinate with suppliers while also developing my software & technical skills.
Since graduating from my interior design program I have also had the opportunity to work on some projects of my own. You can find most of them in the 'Portfolio' section of this website or on my instagram page @aryanefbenoit.
Business & Administration
I have a strong foundation in business administration with hands-on experience supporting both financial and operational functions. In my previous role as an Accounting Services Coordinator, I managed accounts payable, handled expense claims and credit card reconciliations, and maintained accurate records using Excel, GP and other internal systems.
My background in business administration, combined with my organizational skills and ability to quickly learn new software, allowed me to support teams efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Education
Interior Design
I enrolled into an Interior Design program. Throughout the course of this program I got to create floor plans, learn about interior design history and I really fell in love with it all. I thoroughly enjoyed doing all of my assignments and that confirmed that it was the right path for me.
Business & Administration
As a way to further my education, I enrolled into a business and administration program. This program has allowed me to learn more about what it takes to run a business. I believe my experience will enable me to feel more confident in my future business endeavours.
Graphic Design
At first I intended on pursuing a degree in Graphic Design. I spent a year in school learning all about the different design elements such as colour, proportion, function and much more. I fell in love with arranging colour palettes and typography. The classes I took taught me the fundamental design elements and I would not be where I am today without them.
